Ok usually I pride myself on serving up tasty websites, but in this case I've ruined myself by literally doing just that. I've found some food websites here and it's Friday morning for me and lunch is an eternity away. Do you folks skip breakfast? I have for the majority of 30 years and I hear it's one of the most important meals of the day. I must look into this "breakfast" thing. These delicious floating flash burgers aren't helping. Noticeably Burger King of the UK website, (the British Burger? the Welsh Whopper?) has me droolin' over here with their pretty animated food menu and delicious flame-broiled promotions... *Ahem!* Ever experience Far East cultural weirdness? That certain style of Asian that's kinda crazy yet totally endearing with an obvious culture gap that you just can't quite explain. Well this well-animated site for Yoshinoya foods and the Adventures of Hearty Beefy Bowl is just that. The site's insane but its quite fun to be in. Not to mention I'd just about kill for a plate of beef and noodles. Last up is DuPont foods. These folks keep hittin' em outta the park with their websites. They've got top tier design and animation going on. But in hope to distract from all these food notions for the moment there's Brajeshwar's article about ActionScript 3.0 and as always our Flash Directory. Mark Rivera "Hamburgers! The cornerstone of any nutritious breakfast." ~ Jules Winnfield For any thoughts or suggestions for a website to be featured in FlashNewz gimme a shout at mark@flashnewz.com |

Flash burgers served up with lettuce, tomato, a sesame seed bun with an extra side of awesome. |
The Adventures of Hearty Beefy Bowl! ...'Nuff said. |
Just straight up solid design and animation. The animated row of sundries is a nice touch. |

ActionScript 3.0: NOT Hard to Learn
By Brajeshwar Oinam O'Reilly Digital Media just released an article from Colin Moock titled "ActionScript 3.0: Is It Hard or Not?". Here is a warning: This article is best suited for ActionScript Beginners.
However true and a good motivational statement for developers who're new to ActionScript, I'd say, "Once you're through with it, curve yourself towards writing ActionScript 3.0 the better and the right way - object-oriented programming, declare every variable's datatype, write package and classes." Ah! I remembered that I still need to write a review of his awesome book - Essential ActionScript 3.0 Colin Moock
